Originally from South Dakota, I spent my early artistic years specializing in custom pet portraiture and varied commissions before life’s busyness gradually caused me to set my brushes aside. That quiet season changed in 2025 when my husband, Ethan, our two dogs, Kota and Echo, and I relocated to Indiana, opening an inspiring new chapter for my life and creative journey.
Moving to Indiana reignited my passion in ways I didn't expect. Immersed in the surrounding natural beauty and encouraged by a welcoming local art community, I felt called back to the canvas. Around the same time, rededicating my life to God and increasing my involvement with our local church, put Jesus at the center of everything I do. These moments together reshaped how I see the world and gave me the confidence to truly step into my identity as an artist—a lifelong goal I am now actively pursuing through regional exhibitions and events.
My creative process remains deeply rooted in nature, faith, and family hikes through local parks. For me, painting is an act of gratitude—a way to reflect and celebrate the beauty of God’s creation. Each piece is an invitation to pause, appreciate the natural world, and connect with the deeper grace woven throughout it.
